Suffolk Rape Crisis is an independent charity providing safe, specialist, non-judgemental support to women and girls who have experienced any form of sexual violence, recently or in the past. Our aim is always to offer the best service possible to the women and girls who come to us.
We offer long term specialist services across Suffolk from discreet locations in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Lowestoft.
Demand for our services is high and we want to build up a bank of suitably qualified counsellors to keep our waiting lists to a minimum.
We are interested in hearing from qualified accredited (or eligible) counsellors who already have some experience of working with trauma and sexual violence.
We pay counsellors £25 per session, provide clinical supervision, additional support and plan to develop specialised training in the future.
We are particularly interested in receiving applications from black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates who are currently underrepresented.
Closing date of application: 5pm on Monday 20th March 2017
We are also looking for volunteers and trustees. Please see our Volunteering page for details.
